MICHELLE RAMOS

“The Boss”

Michelle started cutting hair in 1991. She started learning the basics of barbering at The Coast Guard Academy Barbershop. She worked in a few other small shops for the next 6 years before taking ownership of a barbershop called Pauls Barbershop. She changed the name to Jordan Village Barbershop to reflect her pride in growing up in Waterford. She worked as a solo barber until 2004 when she hired a 2nd barber. In 2013 she expanded the business to the space next to her small shop to include 4 barbers and 2 salon stylists. 21 years later in Jordan Village you can find Michelle in the afternoons and on Saturdays cutting her loyal friends and customers. She is proud to have experienced so many milestones for our community from first haircuts all the way to their college graduation cut. She is a mother of 2 and is always ready to help out a friend in need or volunteer for community service. Her mission is to provide the area with exceptional barbering and customer service.

TRACY DELAURA

Tracy began as a hairdresser in 2010 and learned quickly that barbering was her calling. She came to JVBSS in 2012 and instantly fit right into the family. She can be found passionately debating over sports teams, showing photos of her dog, Buddy or telling stories about her two sons that make her proud. Her oldest son, a Senior Airman in the Air Force stationed in Japan and her youngest son, who just started his first job as an electrical apprentice. A favorite quote from Tracy- “If you do what you love, you never work a day in your life'“ She hasn’t worked a day since she came to us.”
